They have a sear spring in stock! I looked (I thought) everywhere and couldn't find anything when it broke mid-summer. I am happier than a pig in brown stuff right now!

Thanks, this pistol look great with that legal short barrel. Did you notice a difference in accuracy with that small barrel over the 6"? Im trying to get a spare barrel and transform it in a short one so i could keep the 6" one. Im a huge ppk fan but they are hard to get here... These little beretta look so nice and make great plinking pistols

It is a fun and remarkably accurate plinker.
I bought the gun as converted from a prohib from another member so not sure how the 6" shoots.

Long or short barrel, 71's are great pistols. Always was my go to gun at the end of a range day firing off my bigger bore "Kickers".
Accurate and reliable.

I would trade that 6" barrel for a legal 3.5" anytime... But at least this pistol with a "long barrel" look less weird than a pistol with a pinochio nose like a ruger sr-22 or a walther ppk. The 4.2 inch barrel look kinda good with that pistol, so maybe if i can grab a spare barrel ill make a 4.2" and keep my 6" anyway. But until then ill just enjoy this pistol with a 6" barrel.

Did someone have a nice holster for these little pistol? I would like a leather holster, maybe a shoulder one (yeah i know im not gonna carry it, but this pistol would be great in a shoulder holster). Do you think the beretta 71 would fit in a ppk holster Or maybe in a bersa thunder holster? They all seem to have similar dimensions.
