I see on the market a lot of Beretta 71 with prices between 350-450$.
From what source they come? Is any country that sold them out ?

They are from Israel as far as I know. I was told they were used by school teachers for target practice.

Wasn't there a rumor that we were going to see some of these with a 4.1' barrel? One or two of the sponsors said that was in the works or was something that might happen eventually? Sure would be nice to be able to own one with the real barrel!

I believe they were originally issued to Israeli airplane flight agents (or whatever they were called) their small size made them concealable and their small caliber made them less likely to do damage to the plane, or passengers. Interesting firearm and if they ever make a 4.1' Canadian version I would probably buy it if the price was right!

I bought one a while back, it is in good used condition and has been re-barrelled to 6 inches. Reliable Gun had them on for $349. +Tx, it came with a box which looks new but the gun doesn't fit inside due to the extra barrel length.
Nice solid little 22 plinker, so far reliable and accurate. The only issue I have with it is that the barrel doesn't want to come off as it should, I am hoping that shooting it will loosen it up a bit.

I absolutely love mine.
Very reliable and eats anything I put threw it.
You can always get 106 mm barel made by a few gunsmiths.

S&J hardware sourced some barrels but they never made it to market. I think there were quality issues and Simon wouldn't sell them. If you find one, let me know. I picked up the 6 inch version and love it. Would be much cooler with a 106mm bbl!

The guns were brought in by Trigger Wholesale and they were the ones trying to make the 4.2" barrels a reality.
Contact Trigger and see if they are still working on it?

The 6 inch barrels that they come with are original.

Beretta makes half dozen different versions on the same frame. The bottom one is the Beretta

A fella at the club picked one up a couple months ago, its a great shooter and looks in great shape with barely any noticeable wear on it. I'm considering picking one up for myself.

I find my 71's ability to cycle almost any ammo including cheap ass bulk ammo, impressive. It only chokes on 333s, everything else runs through like ***t through a goose.
