Just curious if anybody has picked up one of these rifles from Tradex, if so, what's the verdict? Solid rifle? Has anybody had a chance to shoot one, how's the function and accuracy? Mines in the mail, so just curious.

well, I guess that's why I asked, I'm not sure what to expect. I've never personally handled one, much less shot one. I have very good luck with 70 year old Brnos, 60 year old Anschutz, even 100 year old Winchesters, so I guess I don't really see what the age has to do with the question. I saw that quite a few had sold and wondered if anyone had tried one out yet. Sorry if I asked a "stupid" question, I'll try not to do it again.

Well then as there is no plastic or aluminum it should be better than most modern stuff
There a Walther copy not Mauser . If the springs are good they should be sweet

Hi Jes
I received mine yesterday and yes in one word its solid . The barrel is a semi-bull, the rifling sharp and the action is super smooth . Very easy to take down ,with the bolt locked tothe rear , depress the rear action plunger and lift up , you can clean from the breech end then . Mine came with decent checkering and a cheek piece . Sights are good but it's only got a rail on the forward portion of the breech , I have yet to figure out a scope mount for it . Mine. Has a 10 round mag and an aluminium lower forward rail for bipods . It has swivels attached and for good measure given the weight of the rifle . To fire it in the bolt action mode simple lock down the bolt in the forward position and leave it in the raised position for semi auto . Will let you know how it shoots after a range trip this weekend . Cheers
