Just wondering what you guys use for Beretta Optima extended chokes. The ones with the little notches that look like they were cut with a small woodruff cutter.

The little blue plastic handle wrench (which retails for 20 bucks on the beretta usa site) that came with my gun has some issues. It's made f some kind of mild steel and the end had worn off, and it no longer works. I had a couple other of the hook style wrenches, and the same thing happend with them. Is there a friction wrench that goes inside the tube,or somethign similar available?

I've tried just putting them in hand tight, and they end up looe again after about 5 shots, so i'm constantly checking my tube after every shot.

The following works fine and could be had in 12 or 20......wish they had one in 28 as well.

yes, my "new to me " Beretta came without a choke wrench. i was upset until i bought a Binelli wrench with the thread chaser on the other end of it to clean the goop out of the choke threads in the barrels. it works well!
and the 4 cogs that fit into the chokes are perfectly sized and aligned, so the chokes have never onnce come loose on me, like all my browning invector plus ones do.............
oh! my Beretta has the older Mobile chokes, not the Optima..........
cheers!
