PT Could Be Excellent
Was looking to buy a new shotgun to shoot trap and skeet and the list was:
Benelli SuperSport or Winchester SX3, was looking for a semi that mounted well and felt right in the hands. What the dealer told me about the Benelli's was they don't cycle the light loads very well 1 1/8 or less. But it mounted to shoulder well and the sights lined up perfectly. However, there was just something about it, plus the fact is was a grand more that the Winchester. The Winchester was the wood stock SX3 and didn't have spacers on it, so it didn't mount as well as the Benelli and the dealer didn't want to fart around putting on the spacers. But the rep. than pulled out the Beretta Parallel Target and wow! it mounted to shoulder well, the sight line was excellent and it just felt right.
In the end I tracked down a Winchester Flanigun which I just got a couple of days ago, the stock is longer than the wood version, and once I assembled it and put it to shoulder, everything felt right. However, my second choice would have been the P.T. it looks to be a sweet shotgun.
Anyway, my 2 cents.
