Anybody tried or use this one? I think they are made by Umarex. If so, how are they for feel and weight compared to the real gun?

I switched to a PX4 for my production gun this year and thought the pellet gun would be great for practicing at home. My basement hallway is long enough to simulate the shorter to mid-range distances we use in IPSC matches. Accuracy doesn't matter too much as long as it doesn't go beyond a plywood backstop and not hit the wall.

You won't have to worry about over penetration, it will not punch through a plywood backstop but it does waste co2 with the blowback action, the odd dual stick/rotary clip is probably expensive and not any better than the usual 8 shot rotary clip found in most umarex pistols. You're better off goin with the umarex cp88 comp, beretta or cold 45.

I have dozens of air guns and this model is definitely one of my favourites. The size and feel is fairly consistent with the real deal and though the blowback action consumes more CO2 it does make for a more realistic shooting experience. Definitely give it a try.

Thanks, guys. I will pick one up when I can. I need all the help I can get in Production and 9mm. (Oh, it would be nice to afford to shoot both club's matches in Standard :( ).

Well, I wasn't concerned with penetration of the plywood. I just don't want the landlord to yell at me for pellet holes in the drywall or marks on the concrete if it misses the target. That is why I'm not concerned with accuracy because it's just for the draw and first shot. Anything more than that I can use the real PX4 at the range.

Wondering if you guys could answer a question for me, I have a beretta PX4 and appeartly the slide is suppose to lock back after the mag is empty, i got mine right when they came out, is this a new feature for them, or is he just wrong?

If you're talking about the airgun then no the slide doesn't lock back. Theres no way to tell when the rotary mag is empty.

Thanks nabiul, I havent shot mine in a while and I didnt ever remember it looking back. and I pulled it out the other day with a friend shooting it and he said it was suppose to so I was just wondering If it was broken or anything..... Thanks..... I alway forget how much fun airguns are
