The gun opens, when fired.
The locking lever is well to the right.
When closed there is no play in the barrel to receiver.
Overall, it appears to be in good shape.
Any help would be appreciated.

Overall maintenance to be looked at also.
 
If the locking lever is well to the right, good chance that the small circular ring attached to the underside of the locking lever is cracked. This ring actuates the locking lugs and depending on how it failed it may be preventing the locking lugs from moving forward.

You can take a look yourself if you want. The stock is easily removed with a 6mm hex head bit;- you will need about a 12" extension. Once the stock is removed you can see the trigger and locking mechanisms.

Mine has been waiting 3months and counting for a new ring.
 
Go to Steve Milton, he will make the parts if unavailable. Or you could order it from Coles in the US. Or do like I do, have your shotgun serviced every year in Europe for free by Beretta!

I'd suggest sending it to Jason Spencer, Gunco in nepean, google him, I believe he does most of Beretta's warranty work in Canada.

Wouldn't bother with precision arms if it was me. Steve is alright, but I'd go elsewhere first!
