How many here made it to the Beretta Sporting Clays Shoot at the Fredericton Trap and Skeet Club this year? It was my first try at sporting clays and I loved it!:D

Can't wait until August 23 for the Browning Shoot!:dancingbanana:

This as my 4th or 5th yr for the Beretta shoot. The weather was perfect, as usual, and the course was nicely laid out, resulting in many favourable comments from those who attended. The target presentations were fair with many reasonable challenges for the average and advanced shooter.

Undoubtedly it is the premiere sporting clays event in the Maritimes and speaking only as a club member it was nice to see you and other new faces on Saturday.

Bill, be warned, it's addictive!

I'm sure it is!:D I just wish it were closer to Saint John.:(

Our club (IPPRGC) had 5 shooters there and the Hampton club had somewhere around 10 shooters in attendance. That coupled with the fact that there were many members from the Pennfield club shooting there as well leaves me to conclude that we should have a facility in the SJ area to shoot Sporting Clays!!!

We may have to look at setting something like that up in the Mispec area.;) We do have some members that have expressed an interest in it.....:runaway:

Bill - Closer to home is the Tenant's Cove Sporting club. We shoot Thursday nights and Sunday mornings. More than welcome to come out anytime. Ping me for directions.
