Beretta Steel 1

Actually it has not been discontinued. They just stopped production for a while to catch up on other models more in demand.
Unfortunately the likelihood of finding one in Canada is limited. More so in the US. Current price is approximately $1,000USD.

Wolverine Supplies has a price listed of $1830... but I doubt they have it in stock; it was a limited production run IIRC

btw Inox models are back :dancingbanana:

you'd have to be nuts spend that much on a Beretta 92...steel or no steel

I probably wouldn't buy one...now if it had regular size grip, non brig slide and the barrel protruding from the slide (like 92FS) I’d be all over it.

I hear people spend $2000-3000 on HK's, so I guess $1830 for a 92Steel is quite reasonable :)

Capp315,
You would have to try one to know.... No disrespect intended.
It is just in a category by itself.
+2!
I had a chance to fondle one in person... a local dealer had brought one in on spec, and the first guy that saw it snapped it up..I was the second!:(
The finish is gorgeous....frame mounted safety...and I believe this one was set up in single action only....
I'm not a big fan of the 92/96 model, having owned an inox Brigadier and an old police trade in 96..nothing wrong with them..just didn't set my pants on fire.
The new 90 TWO is definately a move in the wrong direction, but the Steel 1 would make a nice addition to my collection as well as giving me another place to stuff my CX4 mags!:D
