Bergara B-14 R tips, tricks, mods, and photos

I see alot of you with aftermarket stocks. Is reliability easy enough to achieve with feeding and ejection? I've read alot on the b14r and seems the issues arise when you change out the factory stock. For what it's worth, I'd be dropping it I to and xrs or bravo. Thanks

I needed to adjust mag height, but I have an adjustable mag catch on my MPA.

Worked fine dropped right into the cadex

I have a steel barrel version on the way. I've never handled a bergara so I'm wondering how the trigger is? Is it usable or worth replacing on day 1? I run triggertech specials on all my rigs and there is a sale this weekend. Just curious if it's a worthwhile upgrade. Thanks

The stock Bergara is a good factory trigger, but the TT is better. I swapped mine out for a TT Diamond set at just over 1# and the bolt lift and close effort improved as well.

An aftermarket trigger is never wasted money. But try the stock trigger first.
I completly removed the adjusting screw (yes, it's safe to do so) and find the stock trigger very nice that way.

Just wanted to add my contribution. I just got my bergara assembled how I want it. I can't believe how blown away I am with it. I can only imagine what a vudoo or rimx would be like. I'm beyond happy with this thing so far. Took it out today at 50 yards for the first time to test some ammo. It liked almost everything I fed it. No feeding or extracting issues.
