Bergara bolt action

Well i found the bolt action that bergara has designed. Looks great. Lots of features to make it a winner but i was hoping for something else other than a trainer. Guess the long range fad has eclisped the market share over a classic accurate wood and walnut scaled rimfire repeater

I admit i love the look of the trainer but at 9.25lbs before rings and scope its not a likely choice for a stroll thru the woods in pursuit of squirrels and cottontails brave enough to stay still

My hunting rifle was a little over 12.5lbs. I switched to one that 6.25lbs. I actually seem to prefer the heavier, although that was maybe to heavy.
I think that the Bergara might be a nice alternative to the Vudoo if it shoots half as nice.

I have a savage mk11 fv in a mdt chassis with a brick of a scope on it. Its likely close to 12lbs. At least it fills that way. I dont mind it but i was hoping for a scaled down bergara timber type rifle. I put off buying their new semi on hopes of a nice bolt
