I was thinking the same thing. But you get a good company backing and warranty with this one.

won't get to checking this rifle out on the range until the snow goes

couple of interesting features on this rifle

Bergara added structural inserts in the locations indicated by the dimples to be drilled so that a Karsten cheek rest or similar can be added if needed.



ready for future development of a rear tang to be added for stabilizing the receiver

The EE quite often has Dlask rifles for that price.
Mind you it often occurs to me . . . Why are they selling?
What I have spent upgrading my 10/22's would suggest I should have waited.

I agree, I have two rifles with Dlask receivers & bolts with various other components, KiDD GM etc. I also have an older 10/22 (1996 production) with GM Bbl,JWH Bolt & Brimstone tier 2 trigger. The older 10/22 receivers were far better finished than some of the new that I have seen. A friend had a new 10/22 & the inside of the receiver was very rough. Looks like the bean counters are setting the quality control standards.

I have one. I have shot about 1k rounds through it. Positives- built in rail with moa built into it. Runs 10/22 mags and has extended magazine release. Good accuracy with cci sv- at least mine does. Light weight for standing shots with built in QD cups. Trigger break is nice with no creep
Negatives- limited to 10 round mags unlike a dlask tuff 22. Lack of cheek riser built into standard stock.

Overall very happy with the rifle. I have owned and sold 10/22 rifles from Ruger. I will gladly keep this one as my semi auto rimfire
