Bergara or Anschutz 1710 Barreled Action - Cannot decide

Has anyone looked at the new 1710 that ANA is releasing in the MDT Chassis. It’s a sweet looking ride, but wow the $$.

One thing that makes it more expensive is that it doesn't have the original 1710 factory barrel.

The 1710 Competition rifle not only has the MDT chassis, but more significantly it also has what ANA calls an "optimized match chamber" with the stainless steel barrel. It would seem the standard factory barrels have a chamber that isn't "optimized". Apparently an ANA modification, these "optimized" chambers are not likely to be available in Canada.

Of course. The factory 1710 barreled action in the MDT chassis is without the "wow the $$" observation you made regarding the ANA rifle.
