Does anyone know if these are imported to North America by CVA? Rifles look identical. Interested in the takedown bergaras, you hear good things about these barrels and rifles from euro fjudds.

Fun “pigger” version from NZ
 
I handled a few, shot a couple, very popular rifle in New Zealand, especially for pig hunting, and bush hunting, 44 mag and 300 blackout, 308, .222, .223, 708.They Come in a takedown version, I would like one in .308,
I got a big boar, 225lbs on the hook, that we had to shoot with a Bergara 300 B/O, because non of us were prepared to go stick him with a knife.
The only comment I will make about them, is they are heavy,
 
The CVA ones in NA are made by Bergara. I have one in .35 whelen but haven't shot it yet. Fit and finish is pretty good though for a $600 rifle. Good trigger and action breaks nice and clean and smooth.
 
I've read a bunch of reviews on them, was looking at a 243 that was on clearance for $299, there were a lot of not so good reviews, accuracy was not great, bad triggers, lock up loosening quickly. I took a pass
 
It would be nice to have a takedown rifle and lots of positive reviews on trigger and accuracy.

Also comes a McMillan rip off fake wood pattern.

IRG has a cheap one in Canada in 444 marlin but that caliber is not very inspiring for me. No sights on CVA models either
 
I got barrel cut to19” on a single shot baikal rifle and it’s nice to carry and good balance. The trigger is little ruff on these but they are a underrated firearm for there use. It would be nice to get a few singles for a decent price
 
T'would be nice to examine up close, both the Bergara and the Traditions G2 units in .44 magnum. A full-on range workout be needed for me to decide the
one to pick.

I picked up a CVA Hunter in .243 with a a 20 inch barrel that was on sale for $340. It is the perfect truck/ATV gun! Handy is a ground blind as well. Accurate enough for me to harvest a nice doe this fall, shoots a lot better with 80 grain than 100's. Will group 1 1/2 with the 80's but opens up to 2 1/2 to 3 inch with 100's. I was super surprised when I shot a sub MOA group with Browning 95 grain. I am very happy with this little rifle and works perfectly for what it was intended for.
