Looking at getting a Bergara Stoke for truck/Tractor rifle. Already have a Bergara BMR in 17 HMR. They have a similar feel and same barrel length. Looking to install bottom metal that accepts AICS mags. Not only is it Gopherpocalypse here the badgers have made it look like a war zone.

Anyone else purchase one?

I have the Stoke in 223. Finally, a nice compact stock and 16" barrel for my hunting and shooting needs. It already has a bottom metal (not plastic) that accepts AICS. This will be my coyote rifle for around my property. Mounted a Vortex Diamondback 2-7x rimfire scope on top for the 50 yard parallax.

Waiting for MDT's annual BF sale to pick up a few extra 223 mags.

After looking into these (the 20” bbl options) they do have aftermarket compatibility via the 700 going for them.

But for roughly a $1200 new (from a quick online search) I’d hold out and source a Model Seven in the same price range myself
 
I picked one up in 243 today mounted a 3-15 x44 Vortex Viper on it. Ordered mags and bottom metal. Shoots nicely. See if I can out shoot my son’s Tikka Varmint 223…
