Berger 70 gr VLD bullets for my .22-250

So Santa brought me a box of these beauties and I want to start using them asap. My .22-250 has a 1 in 9" twist rate barrel so I'm thinking these will work fabulously.
My question is, does anyone have any experience reloading with these? Berger does not have reloading info on their site. it says to call them, just haven't got around to it. I am planning on trying H4831SC powder, and possibly Varget as well. Suggestions, words of wisdom, would be greatly appreciated.

And while I'm here, a quick question on 55 grain Nosler ballistic tips: does my barrel spin these too fast? I don't have pictures, but my groups are roughly 3/4-1" at 100 yds and I'm not happy with this. I suppose I could work on changing powder charges in small increments, just wondering if anyone has ever had trouble with this? I am using 37.1 gr of Varget with the bullet seated 0.020" off the rifling.

37.1gr of Varget behind a 55gr, your rifle being a 1:9 twist barrel, the load seems hot from my pov.
Did you try around 35.5 gr of Varget?
 
With Berger they suggest starting off with 3 different OALs. .01" off the lands, .02" off the lands and .03" off the lands. After you find out which your rifle shoots best, work up a load from there.

For a powder I'd try something in between Varget and H4831SC. I'd like to suggest H4350 or even IMR 4350, leaning towards the Hodgden due to temp stability. I would obviously try Varget and H4831SC first though!
 
Thanks for the info guys. I finally got off my butt and called Berger. They gave me min and max loads for H4831SC. I've loaded a few at 5% less than max and haven't tried them yet.
The 55 gr Noslers are working better now with 35.6 gr of Varget. I started at 35 gr and worked up to 36 in .2gr increments. I found 35.6 was the sweet spot in my gun. I agree that 37.1 gr was a little on the hot side....
The mechanics of reloading are easy-the whys and hows not so much. Still learning that part.

H4831 may be a little slow. H4350 may be better. This link may help you out a bit if you haven't seen it. All the Bergers I've shot have been most accurate jammed 0.010" into the lands.
