Looking for load data for 80 vld's in .223 rem, I'm using h335@ 22.6gns velocity is 2600 out of 22" 1:8 twist shilen 2.460 oal (10 thou off lands) it seems ok so far. Started at 20gns and worked up, no flattened primers or other over pressure issues apparent, primers are cratered but were at 20gns, it's a stevens/savage action and the cratering is due to firing pin/hole I think as it has not changed on the work up. Hodgson list 20-22.5 gns for Sierra 80's at 2.550 oal which I used as a starting point, been in touch with berger and the info they sent does not include h335.
Gun is running at .5" 5 shot groups @200yds when I concentrate!
Does anyone with quickload or similar want to run some numbers for me regards chamber pressure max or any other folks want to chime in?
Any help would be welcome.:)

i got the berger book it does not h335 for 80grs vld.the 82gr match bullet has it listed starting load 19gr 2443 fps to 21.3gr 2705 fps

Hodgdon would be the preferred source of data for their powder. I wouldn't trust any computer program over the powder maker.
At .5" at 200, I'd leave the friggin' load alone. It works. I would contact Savage though. What primer you using?
