After a lot of trial and error, i found my 7mm rem mag likes a 30-35 thou jump to the lands. The magazine in the rem model 700 is huge, so it never was an issue. Even with the bullet touching the lands, there is a lot of room to spare. I was having some trouble with group consistency, but finally got it figured out with a lot of help from walt berger via e-mail. It's nice to deal with a company that cares about their products and customers, for once. He also sent me a some load data and tips on how to find the best OAL for my rifle. I highly recommend sending him a message about your rifle and any questions/concerns you may have about their bullets.
