More info for those not here for the 3x20 shot local Arizona Sharpshooters match today at 1000 yd. Total number of shooters today was only 33 shooters, a far cry from the 200+ expected next week for the main event.

Match winner was Cdn Ken Nelson in Any Iron (2 shooters in Any Iron) shooting his 6Dasher with 593-27x and I'm hoping I have convinced Ken to wind coach the Cdn FTR team in the up coming team Palma match on Thursday. For those that do not know, a Palma is 2+15 at 800, 900 and 1000 yd)

In TR (11 shooters) top 5 were Rick Hunt with 591-19x, 2nd was Bill Laird with 581-13x, 3rd was Oliver Melon with 581-8x, 4th was Doug Frerichs with 580-21x, 5th is Bill Otten with 576-22x

In FTR it was Steve Lockwood with 579-20x, 2nd Grant Ubl at 574-18x, 3rd Scott Harris at 574-13x, 4th is Cdn Gerry Wiens with 571-13x, 5th was Cdn Jim Wilderman at 568-11x

In FO is William Wittman at 584-14x, 2nd was Allan Rosenthall (Team Lapua using one of Eric C.'s barrel turners on his 300WSM and 230g Berger's) at 580-18x, 3rd was Cdn Keith Skjerdal with his 284 WIN and 180g VLD Bergers at 579-20x, 4th is Cdn Les Dolhun shooting his 7mm-300 at 575-10x and in 5th place, shooting his little wimpy lady cartridge, a 6.5x47 and light 130g VLD JLK's, is my travelling partner, Cdn Cal Waldner at 573-12x.

Not too bad, 6 out of the 8 Cdn's shooting today placing in the top 5 places of the 4 classes, Go Team Canada!
