berreta carcano value?

picked up this nice original carcano in trade and wonder what to ask for it, as i have no interest in millitary rifles, thanks glenn

Nice looking carbine. Generally its hard to get more than $150 for a carcano but some sell for more.

Anyhow, I've bought three in the last two years and all were in the $100 to $150 range.

I paid about $100 for the last one I bought. Having said that $125 would likely bring a quick sale.

Depends ALOT on the carcano. That one is a well marked rifle with a military rebuild in 1954, clearly cartouched, and surplused through England.

It should be worth more than a common Inter-arms import from the 50's with scrubbed markings, sanded stock, etc.

I would price it at about $250, personally - given it's not a commercial refinish like so many are these days.
