I have been shopping around for a pistol. I prefer Berreta and would like to find a 96 Elite II in .40 Cal. While out shopping I came across a model I can't seem to find info on. It is a Berreta 96G Special Duty. Does anyone out there know about this model and what similarities and diferences there are between it and the Elite II or Brigadier.

they all have Brigadier slides, Special duty has a rail, Elite and Brigadier don't. Elete has Novak sights, SD and Briguadier have 'regular' dovetail sights. Also Elete and SD have chackered grip/frame Brig doesn't.

Willams Arms has a 96G Elite II (as I recall all 96's are .40 S&W, 92's are 9mm)... I saw it while ogling their Berettas on their website.

Super Dave,
If you don't go for it PM me with the co-ordinates because I would be interested. Thx.

GSD has a longer barrel than an Elite does, plus the above mentioned differences.
