Berrys 44mag plated bullets in rifle?

I have been shooting berrys bullets in my pistols for years but want to try them in 44mag for my marlin lever action rifle. Anyone use these at these higher velocities? Just want to make sure they will hold up.

I use cast gas check bullets in mine with no problem so the plated should be ok.

They hold up just fine, I have loaded them for my 44 Mag Marlin as well. Best accuracy for me was with 9 grains of Unique. They are not the most accurate bullet in my 1894 Marlin being a .429" projectile. .430 & .431 work better in the Marlin lever guns in my limited experience. I have had GREAT success using the 240gr DRG semi wad cutters with the lube groove. My Marlin doesn't like the Hornady moly coated 240gr projectiles either.

I shot them out of mine no problems. I'm assuming they are flat nose as you don't want round nose in a tube mag.

why not round nose in a tube mag? I understand about not using pointed tip bullets but never round nose (i thought they were recomended). I shoot lots of round nose in mine without issue.
