Anybody load these? The price is right. I’m thinking about trying them in a 223, 9” twist, and maybe a 22-250, 12” twist.

Are they decently accurate? I’d like to get minute of gopher accuracy out to 200 yards.

I bought a bulk box of these down in the States and think they are great! Price is unbeatable too. I reload them for a Savage Axis heavy barrel .223 REM 1-9 twist. 200 yards vs gophers won’t be a problem for these.

I've tried 55gr Campro FMJ in 223 against gophers. It is pretty boring, usually just puts a hole through them. Definitely recommend spending extra on varmint tipped bullets for this task. Or, in my case, I am just going 17hmr and leaving the 223 at home.

I’ve used berrys, they are better than Campro(not saying much) but like others have said the real value is the Hornady bulk soft points(called spire points or something). If you buy them in bulk you can get them quite cheap.

Thanks for the info, I guess I’ll look into the Hornady’s.

I found some campros on my shelf I forgot I had. I loaded up a few with 26 gr of Varget just to use for sighting in and fouling the barrel on my new rifle before starting load development with my 69 SMK’s.

Was I ever surprised with the group I shot with them! 5 rounds into 0.8” at 100 yards, extreme spread of 20 FPS and average velocity of 2885 FPS from my 16” barrel.

I’ll definitely be shooting a few more groups with them to see what they can do.
