Well, it seems that my usual bullet supplier is slowly phasing out Frontier bullets and started stocking Berry's TMJ (plated) bullets.

I've been using Frontier pretty much since I've started reloading and they always gave good performance and good quality for value. Now I'm completly in the dark with Berry's ones, never used/heard about them, and was wondering if they were as good/better/not as good as Frontiers.

Anyone who experienced them could enlighten me please?

A month ago I tested the full range of Berry's 40's in an unmodified Glock; (Which are notoriously unfriendly to plated bullets...) They shot very well and grouped as good as the Frontiers. (Which up until now, the only other plated bullets I've seen work well in a Glock 40.)

They appear to be held in high regard by our southern brothers. If you do a Google on Berrys bullets and visit some of the threads there are lots of comments. The only caution I have seen is the same with any plated bullet being used in a revolver. If you use a heavy crimp, the plating can separate at the crimp and you may get some splatter back at you:eek: . A lot of guys luv em for the autos. Let us know how you fare with them..
Cheers:)
