Bersin Tool
...yes, I own two of these tools. They seem to work best with long-necked cartridges like the 220 Swift, 30-06, Weatherby cartridges, etc. These tools are not as effective when using short-necked cartridges like the .223 and .308 because the tool tends to break the case neck tension on the bullet. These tools are, however, excellent for measuring overall "runout" of the entire cartridge/bullet package for checking the overall quality of your factory and/or reloaded cartridges. I only recommend this tool for the most serious sportsman. They are made in Plattsburgh, N.Y. (USA) by the Island Machine Co. on high-tec CNC machinery. The high price of this tool is caused by patent payments to the Swiss patent owner. It is a tool for the most serious long-range target shooter, varmint hunter, 1,000 yd. competitor, etc. The guy to talk with at the shop, answers to the name of "Marvin".......
