Pierre-Victor Continsouza was one of the early pioneers of the design, development and manufacture of motion-picture equipment.
His company, the Etablissements Continsouza, was in Tulle, which already had been an arms-making town for more than a century.
They were one of the contractors for the Berthier rifle during the Great War, although their rifles are not often seen here.
I have a couple of these rifles, a Saint-Etienne and a Chatellerault....... but no Continsouza, Delaunay-Belleville or Remington.
Like all French equipment of the period, they combine best materials and finest workmanship with a completely-wonky design.
Trade-Ex has the brass, friend JP on this forum has the special 3-shot CLIPS, everybody (including Lee) make the dies, any midrange rifle powder will work.
These can be fun rifles and they can be much more accurate than that strange design might suggest.
Always remember: NO SAFETY.
And do have fun.
