sounds like the one I got. mine's a takedown model that's been a jamomatic from day one. I think I got a lemon
it's getting repaired in Quebec right now but I don't have much confidence in Snap Shots, or Ruger, or 10/22's any more.
Ruger refused to replace the gun or give a refund. the gun blew up firing out of battery, it was shooting double shots with one trigger pull, double feeds, stovepipes, bent bullets, shaved lead, jams with every type of magazine, you name it
you can read all the problems with Snap Shots and Ruger from my other posts. I think this will be the last Ruger product I ever buy.
the only thing I can say about Ruger is they're cheap......that's about it
I had to whine and ##### to get Ruger to get Snap Shots to finally start fixing my 10/22 after more than 3 weeks. Snap Shots does not reply to emails at all.
Yeah why I waited and paid a little more for a Older 10/22. I pieced mine together. But its about 20 years old. But like new.
