Best $100 Ever Spent On A Gun! Backpacker

Got one of those barrel clamp weaver mounts off ebay. Notched a tiny bit out of the forestock and boom! In business!

Not at the moment, it's on my old man's backpacker. Mount looks like this:

Fun gun for sure. I like how it disassembles, so I can carry in a "backpack". Not the comfiest shooter, but worth it to see the fireballs!
I had light primer strikes. It wasn't hitting far enough forward, so I shoved a little piece of plastic in front of the trigger & now goes bang every time lol

Same here, just slightly high but easy to compensate for.

The front sights on the first batch of Backpackers from years ago had the same to low front sight. I have no idea why Canada Ammo couldn't convince the Chinese to adjust the front sight to get the gun to shoot to point of aim.... Maybe they would have had to increase the price $5.00 but it would have been worth it.
Just like most Chinese guns these are best for people that like to tinker. They need sight adjustments, de-tuning of sharp metal edges and usually some shimming of the front fore end wood.
The only other real comment on these Backpackers is they are very heavy for a backpack gun.
One more thing, I wouldn't call that recoil pad good in today's market of 12G rubber recoil pads.

Don't be afraid of being critically honest in your reviews.
