I am very interested in stripping and tricking up my Norinco 1911 A-1.
Can anyone recommend a favorite or best 1911 assembly/disassembly DVD?

Thanks

Gene

You usually get nothing out of a dvd. Go for a book and you will learn more.

All videos I have seen sell you a product other than instruct.

However the American Gunsmith Institute has the best dvd for 1911 instruction. Even some hot tips like cleaning a barrel with toothpaste and gin or rye instead of locktight.

"American Gunsmith Institute has the best dvd for 1911 instruction"

I just ordered a cheek piece for my AR from DPMS, they were the only company in the US that sold the "accu-riser" and would ship it to Canada. Other companies said that an export permit was required... Anyway, I also included, in the order, a dvd on the AR from the American Gunsmith Institute. I received a phone call from DPMS customer service and was told that they couldn't ship the dvd with the cheek rest because it was considered a manual. Since when did dvd's and books need an export permit? I have never heard of a dvd killing anyone?

DVD's don't kill People, People kill People

The Wilson dvd is terrible. Field strips a pistol then goes into a 30 minute commercial for their oil products.
