Buddy of mine showed up wearing it, along with his Ruger No1 and his fishing tackle yesterday.

I have dozens of those clips... but let me tell you, when they get cold it is almost impossible to get the bits out... my Hornet's are all K's and the sharper shoulder might make insertion more difficult... I'm going to try this and perhaps drill out the holes slightly oversized. Thanks for posting, Ted.

it is an excellent idea ive seen some people make some out of wood as well using pretty much the same idea for different calibers and putting belt loops on the back

The Hornet cases come out a lot easier than the bits because they have the rim to hold onto.

I use the green one that fits 50 just too big. They fall out and are all loose when they tip over. So I took some pink Styrofoam and cut it out and fit it in the lid. The tips poke holes and they dont wiggle while driving.
