Best .22 mag revlover is........?

the one in your hand :p
i dont really know but i have heard good things about the ruger single six, with the two cylinders. Mag and LR

I've shot a lot of rounds through the little S&W model 34 "kit" gun. It's a prohibited though so that doesn't help you much. Sure is a delight to shoot though. The DA pull is terrible so I always shot it by cocking the hammer and then single actioning it. So the only real advantage is the swing out cylinder that makes clearing the casings and reloading far faster.

S&W K frames are easier to shoot and have much better triggers then the J frames (kit guns). The J frames are available with 6" barrels, by the way, you just don't see many of them, sort of defeats the purpose. Colt Trooper Mk III revolvers are good shooters in this caliber, in SA revolvers, Ruger and Colt rule the roost. I prefer the Colt New Frontier (I have two), but I have owned the Ruger in the past and have no problem recommending it to people. If you"re buying new, you will probably only find the Ruger Single Six convertible on shelves. 22 Mag ammo is very expensive compared to 22 LR, which makes a switch cylinder a better economic choice, though not necessarily a more accurate one. FWIW - dan
