Best .22lr pistol?

To GD7 Re: Kimber Rimfire Super...

Thanks for taking the time to actually write out your thoughts, I appreciate it. I went and handled one today, and no doubt it's a very nicely finished firearm. I don't know if it's $1500 nice, but I can certainly see the appeal to it.

No they don't. They make junk that looks cool and disappoints the owner. That was my experience along with 2 fellows at my range.

Ruger MkII would be my recommendation.

I have the Sig 1911-22, which is the GSG with Sig's name on it, and I know three others with the GSG 1911-22 and we all like them. They are accurate and reliable. Don't get me wrong, they are no Model 41, but as a fun plinker that will eat pretty much any ammo they are great.

Just my 2 cents.

was out shooting yesterday. I have a Browning 1911-22-A1, a Ruger 22/45 Lite and a Ruger Mark III Target with the 5.5" SS barrel.

I find the Ruger MKIII to be too heavy for me, but damn it's accurate and it is a blast to shoot. great trigger, good sights and damn, it's accurate! LOL!

Mine will be for sale soon. I'll probably upgrade to something target from the 22/45 series as they're much lighter.

I have the slide on my sp-01 shadow and shoots like a dream. Expensive but no issues whatsoever.... I feed it bulk 22 federal, even a bucket of bullets fron rem shot well

About 1500 rounds through my Walther PPQ .22lr 5". Not a single failure or issue. I love everything about it except for the rear sight (shoots high even when adjusted to lowest position and has some other quirks), which I'm working on a solution for.

If you think a MKIII is too heavy try a MKII with the 10" BBL... extreme accuracy, but 54oz...
