Best 3.5" Camo Waterfowl Pump?

a 3.5" pump is a godawful creature. Like a 2x6 with a length of sewer pipe lashed to it. I'd rather have a sore ass than a 3.5" pump.

Don't agree on this one

Just courious ?? How many do you have or did you own
My 3 1/2 remingtons (a wingmaster, SPS turkey, super mag) and my 3 1/2 BPS are not even close to what you describe

Benelli Supernova is my vote for the best pump gun
-least amount of kick due to the comfort tech stock
-no cycling issues
-easy to field strip
-fits like a glove

The abuse doled out by my Browning Gold 3.5" is plenty. I've refrained from taking a pump 3.5" afield because of it. I've handled the Remington and it didn't feel good at all. I suppose I'm biased...I prefer pumps to be lighter and more nimble and not treat me like I did something to make it mad at me.

Better not buy a 10ga if that gold 12ga semi is abuse. I don't even notice the recoil on my golds and two are 10ga two are 3 1/2 12ga.
To each their own or maybe if one weighs 150 pounds :) it could be a problem or if it doesn't fit the owner
That being said many use them and like them with zero complaints and they are far from handling a 2x6
Only 3.5 anything that I can say made me flinch was the 1st 835 mossy they came out with. Now that was a mule
Even the 10ga Bps I had after that was not bad. I never notice recoil when there is a flock of geese in front with their landing gear down :)
Cheers

'Tis true, shotguns rarely fit me especially well. I suppose that's what you get for being extra-tall-gangly.

3.5" pump is a waste in a 12ga, 3" or 2.75" will do just the same or better FPS. 10Ga is better patterns and penetration while using steel shot, and just better all around as the shot doesn't get squeezed down a 12 ga barrel as much preventing spreading of patterns.
