Title says it all! What in your experience is the best factory round for accuracy at close and long ranges as well as consistancy? I was told that Fusion is the best these days but figured I should get other opinions. And lets pretend that price isn't a factor! Thanks.

It depends on what you plan on shooting, and one rifle might like a different bullet than yours does.

The Fusion bullets were designed for deer sized game, so they might not be the best choice for elk or moose. Not that they wouldn't work, but a tougher bullet like the TSX might be a better choice in a magnum.

It's probably going to be a target gun most of the time but I bought it with moose and big interior BC deer in mind. I wanted to try longer range so until I get enough brass to reload I wanted a factory round that might be decent 300-600 yards, as well as be able to be used for hunting.

I've only tried 3 factory offerings for the 300WSM, out of the 30 or so offered, but the ones that I liekd the best and shot the best were the Federal Premium 180gr TSX.

I just use the winchester 180 gr power points i knocked down a cow moose and 2 deer with them last year all one shot and they group under an inch and the are only about 36 dollars a box compared to the xp3 which is like 70, but if you want somthing better the fail safes in 165 gr work awesome aswell.
