But the Mark II stock is the ugliest, most uncomfortable, least ergonomic piece of crap ever foisted on an unsuspecting public.

An opinion on a highly subjective subject...

My opinion is precisely the opposite, I find the MKII stocks to have the cleanest, most pleasing lines of all of the "7's" and the fit is aboslutely perfect for me... mounting one to shoulder, feels like "coming home."

I agree. I qualified my statement several times as both subjective and hyperbolic.

For me, the Hawkeye stocks fit better. I find the trigger reach incredibly short on the MK IIs.

The hawkeye feels about as good as my kimber, better than any other rifle I've held.
