Best .357Mag DA Revolver??

The thing is, I already owned a S&W 686, I would like to try something different? possibly better?
Unless you are prepared to spend 4 figures, you are not gonna get anything better. If $$$$ is not a problem, get a custom shop N-frame or a Colt Python.

I have found Rugers triggers are not as smooth as they should be but if you are brave enough to open them up and not lose the little pieces under you bench, you can trigger job it yourself with a dremel and smooth it out.

On Taurus revolvers, in the US I have had great service from them. Don't know about in Canada.

$$ isn't really an issue here, just want the best damn revolver in .357!!! I thought about getting a Ruger GP100, but what's the point? I know I'm gonna get something better later on anyway, and trade-ins are costing me $$, so I'm going to jump the best and make it last.

again, anyone know anything about S&W performance center revolvers???? the 627 V-comp??? Someone out there's gotta have one?

I don't own any performance center revolvers, but I know that they supposedly have improved triggers and even better build quality than regular S&W's.

Ellwood Epps in Orilia has (or at least used to have) a few performance center Smiths in stock. I don't know if they have the 627 V-comp, but I'm sure they could get it for ya.

Also, you might want to check out www.smith-wessonforum.com. Lots of good info there.

HOWDY. the Dan wesson is a good second gun for a purpose with seasoned handler.
Ruger for everyday shooting whatever.
A tuned smith wesson N frame for your needs would most likly be most satisfying in the long haul.
check out ellwood epps .

If $$$ are not an issue, my vote would be for a Freedom Arms. Grip is more comfortable than any DA I've fired for heavy loads, gun locks up like a bank vault, and they are extremely accurate. Friend of mine shot IHMSA with his, and had no trouble taking rams at 200m. Loads were maxed for T/C Contenders, and the gun was still tight as a drum. A truly impressive piece of machining !!!
