Thanks guys for your votes, comments and input! Looked at sigs p226r, sprg xd, h&k usp, s&w/m&p, glock 22 gen3.5 & gen 4, fell in love with the new beretta.

I've put the Glock 22 gen4 on hold and am still thinking of the Beretta. Should I buy the glock in .40 and then get the Beretta in 9mm? Or vice-versa?

i would have gone for 40 OR 9, but not a mix of both. and i would have gone 40. much easier to manage ammo supplies if all/most of your guns take the same rounds.

but i think the PX4 is ugly, and i'd lean towards the 92/96 series.
