Best .40 other than Glock 22

Looking for a range gun (no IPSC) just for fun. I was thinking of adding a Glock 22, but I'm a little Glock-heavy at the moment. Whadda you guys recommend as the best value for a quality piece at the moment?

I really like my Springfield XD. Mine is in .45ACP, but I personally would like a .40S&W as well.

For a range gun in .40,I'd look at an STI .
Here's mine.
.40 on top and 9mm on bottom.

From what I heard and I tried, XD 40 is a much better gun than G22 and beside you can shoot what ever you want and no worry about so call Kb.

M&P is a great value right now with the extra mags and the rebate (not to mention the low prices)...but since you're already glock heavy, do you want another DAO polymer framed striker fired pistol?

I'd probably be tempted to buy a SIG....but that's not cheap. Great gun, but not cheap.

Maybe a 1911 in .40 might be a better choice if you're looking for a change?
