Best .40 other than Glock 22

I'd say S&W M&P ,but what do I know.Thats all I own for pistols(so far)

I've shot so many handguns it's easier to remember which ones I haven't shot, and I agree with you.

Sig 226 hands down. On my 3rd Sig in .40cal. right now, All progressions in upgrades from the basic 226, 226R, and 226Elite. Love the round and absolutely love the gun.

Thanks for the varied opinions gents. The reloading of relatively free brass is my driving decision in going .40. That said, I've already checked out one gun shop in Calgary with a few of your suggestions. Does anyone know who might carry Browning Hi-power's in Alberta? I've found the XD's, the Sigs, the M&P's, the Glocks, but can't seem to locate a Browning.
