Best 7.62x39: CZ 858 vs. XCR

My XCR has seen thousands of rounds and I have never had a hiccup. It doesn't need a lot of cleaning, and with decent ammo and a custom barrel it shoots great, not to mention having multiple calibers. The only caveat so far is a chewed up buffer, and the weight issue is easily solved by throwing a Magpul UBR onto there.

LOL you guys are hilarious. So you wouldn't put a weighted stock to stop the XCR from being as front heavy? Yes, let's whine about a difference between a railed AR (about 6 pounds 11 ounces) and an XCR (7.5 pounds). My buddy is 5'9 and less than 160 and he has no problem carrying it for hours, even though why would you really? Are any of you working active patrol? Nope, didn't think so. I know TV must have problems hefting something that bad, but maybe you should spend your hard-earned dollars on a gym pass. It's the balance that throws people off.

I have the light barrel for my .223. It feels like a completely new gun. It is far better balanced and about a pound lighter as well. It handles much more like an AR. It would be nice if they release one in 7.62x39. I was also happy to find when I changed the barrel I didn't even have to adjust my scope. Maybe I got lucky but it was nice.

Comrade Sarutobi, you are a fascist collaborator and an enemy of the laborers of the glorious Red Rifles Collective!!!!!

It's hard to beat a 7.62 that is small nimble light weight, has great balance and is rock solid.
The Cz/Vz platform is just a handy little bugger with big power and makes libs piss their pants.

You only need one hand to mag swap on a VZ58 (atleast a CSA one) and it's a fluid motion.

Am i mistaken on this?

CSA is a copy of the CZ and yes one handed mags changes are the norm on both with a extended mag release(certain brands). The factory mag release's are a little small to do the slap out the old mag AK trick.
