???? Best 9mm Semi using Glock Mags????

jr carbine is pretty darn reliable...takes even the cheapy glock mags. I used downloaded ammo...hot ammo..etc. all in all decent. downside...disassembly is stupid. THe mag release is in the wrong spot...and it does not lock open on last round.
good point is that you can change the charging handle to the other side, and have it eject to the left (bonus to lefties)

Complete teardown is a bit of a pain, but not required for a good cleaning. After each use I simply spray some cleaner, scrub a little, spray again and lube. If a better cleaning is in order, remove the buffer tube and bolt to access most of the internals. Still no need to unbolt the lower.

Many successful firearms use a left handed magazine release (AK, MP5, VZ58, some bullpups etc), and it would be nice if it maintained the AR ergo's in this area, but the "issue" is also easily overcome with practice.

Same goes for the last round bolt hold open, nice to have but not a big deal most of the time.
The original JR's used the bottom of the bolt to stop the magazine when inserted, so that may be the reason one was never incorporated into the design. This is also one of the common causes of feeding problems in early models that was fixed in the "2nd Gen" ones.

I've used mine in our MDPL side matches (PCC div) and it works fine when pushed a little...

Thureon is hard to beat,,TNW is also very good,,9mm Ar's sometimes run good,,but can have a lot of problems,,the restricted part is the worst,,

Fired and handled the JR, Thureon, sub 2K, and the TNW.

TNW ASR for the win, Thureon close second, if you can find it!

I own one TNW, want another, and maybe a barrel conversion set for .40 & .45, just in case:)

Yes, I familiar with the loop. I do carry a printed version of the law with me for the Beuwolf mags at all time in my range bag.
Well, let us see the new baby when it's finished :D

Build finished for a while but havent checked in on this thread for a while, here is the finished product

That's badass. Started buying my parts. Decided for the QC-10 GSF lower with a Vltor Muir 1-S and either the Odin Works 5.5" guard or a Samson Star-4"
Will post as the build progresses.

Hey JohnnyP636....here it is finally finished!!! Thx for all the tips.
Didn't go side charging, preferred the Vltor upper look, although the Gibbz looks badass.
Not sold on the vertical grip, but had one...so!
And considering a Cerakote job to distinguish this little guy from my other ARs.

Had any issue with BHO?
With the QC10 GSF it should come with BHO set up.
I haven't shot mine yet...but with empty mag in it right now it won't stay open!!!
