Best A2 Upper Available in Canada?

I don't want this to become a debate. I am going to be building an upper piece by piece.

I want to know if there is any one over the other that is considered superior and why.

It must be something readily available in Canada. I have already decided to try and bring in a Bushy Dissipator barrel assembly so reciever info only.

I know ADCO makes a nice unit but importing it was WAY over my price limit.

Bolt carrier assembly info would be good too.

Please, no abbreviated manufacturers. I need to know what, why. and where!

Thanks!

Unless you require something custom, or non standard, any of the major brand uppers are comparable in quality.

I believe many of the manufacturers get their uppers from the same source, so as mentioned, there will really be no/little difference between.

I know you didn't want a debate, but any reason you don't want a flattop with a detachable A2 carry handle? Personally, I think a A2 upper is needlessly limiting future options...

You could be right. I've always been comfortable with the regular sights. Maybe I should move into the twentieth century now that it's over.:D

I'm guessing for an A2 upper, your choice would be more down to what's available on who has it in stock?

We don't carry any A2 uppers, (wish we did, a nice option) so can't help you there. But I will say the CMT/Stag bolt gives up nothing in terms of servicability or function.

Good luck with your build,
Walt
