Just wondering what you guys think the best all around grain bullet is for my 9mm glock. I mainly shoot paper but will hopefully try ISPC if i can find time. Im going to order a 1000case of fmj....also have an SR9 and a Beretta PX4 storm 9mm..... ?? thanks

My personal experience is 147gr has better control and over all sofer recoil than 124gr, make a joy to shoot. Hollow point and flat point also better than round nose. This all come down to personal choice, there isn't a true answer for these matter.

I find Glocks run with almost any bullet weight. Their recoil springs aren't super strong like HK P2000 which tend to run better with 124gr and up (they're rated for 9mm NATO)

The glocks run very well even with anemic 115gr American Eagle.

If the twist rate of the Glock pistol barrel is 1:10 like most 9MM guns then the rifling favours 125 gr bullets for accuracy. The 147 grainers will work as well. The 147 gr bullets were originally designed for suprressed guns. The latter required a sub sonic round to work effectively ie being as quiet as possible. The biggest advantage of the 147 gr bullets is they produce less recoil at the same power factor (weightxvelocity). This can be a factor in the shooting sports because in theory you should be able to get your gun back on target quicker. That said a lot of top shooters shoot 124/125 grain bullets because the can control the slightly heavier recoil and feel the slide resets the sear faster.

IMHO shoot what you are comfortable with and enjoy. For most shooters it likely makes little difference what bullet weight you shoot.

The Glock 34 I'm using now cycles anything. But using 115 gr. U.M.C. crap from Remington, I get sub minute of barn accuracy...
Using Wolf 124 gr. TMG with success. Haven't tried a lot of different stuff, as Wolf bullets are readily available around here & work good enough for my plinking at paper.
