I have a few hundred pounds of stick on wheel weights in ingots. I would like to make a alloy similar to Lyman #2 for smokeless rifle shooting. I have 50/50 solder, lino, Babbitt, and #6 lead shot. What would be the most cost effective recipe to make Lyman #2 or similar?

I use it all the time when I am making up a new batch of a particular BH number. I have different molds for each recipe and all I do in the winter is make some up for a particular application so when I need bullets I just have to consult the chart that I made and I know which mold to use. Very easy system if you have multiple applications that need different BH number hardness’s.
You won't be very far off if you mix 50 - 50 lino and stick on wheel weights. You might consider mixing up some lead - tin alloy, some of those shoot very well, depends how high velocity you want to achieve. I use a very similar alloy for harder bullets and 18:1 lead and tin (9:1 stick on ww) for softer bullets.
