Best AMBIDEXTROUS 9mm

I recently purchased a CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow and have also recently sold it in the hope to replace it with a completely ambidextrous pistol.

What is your opinion on a top of the line FULLY AMBIDEXTROUS 9mm? I would like it to be at least as accurate and good quality as the CZ. So far the HK P30L was recommended to me. Is there anything that rivals or passes this?

Accurate as heck, sweet f-all for muzzle climb, and with the interchangeable back straps you can set it up to fit your hands perfectly.

The controls are truly ambi including the mag release which works from both sides without any need to switch.
 
Another vote here for the Grand Power, I have had 3 versions over the years, my latest is the STI GP6c aka K100. In my hand it is more accurate then my Sig P226r Two Tone and it might just edge out my Shadow depending on my day. Those Grand Powers are under rated in my opinion, don't let the very reasonable price fool you, they work extremely well :cool:
 
lefty here.

i shoot M&P's for the ambi.
i found the slide release was a bit tight so 10 seconds with some 2000 grit and problem solved, smoooooooooooth to use now.

i also like most rugers for ambi, p89 super good but big and heavy.
trying to remember my SR9, it has ambi mag and safety but slide release is only on the left (for R sided shooters)
 
Funny.. people talk about the ppq being snappy. I haven't noticed it. Maybe my reloads tame it down a bit.

My vote goes to the ppq for the great trigger!
 
H&K P30 L. Only function that is not truly is ambi, is the decocking lever. It is on the left side of the hammer, but reachable by either thumb. Not really different than cocking the hammer.

Thanks. Its a gun I would have never thought about buying, nor one I have ever seen in a store to try.

Fits me like a glove and that rotating barrel action really has something going for it regarding the recoil control. Fixed sights shot right to where I want with 115gr 9mm. I think I've found my IPSC production gun :D
 
Adding my personnal thoughts, Grand Power K100 in any version of it or a X-Calibur. A TRUE ambi gun, accurate as hell, probably one of the best trigger out of the box, softer recoil due to the rotating barrel, ergos are awesome, 4 differents backstraps to choose from, simply a winner. I had a CZ 85 Combat and know having a X-Calibur, would not go back to my previous gun, had some feeding problems with all kind of ammo, nothing yet with the first 5000 rounds in the X-Cal. Eats all I put in it!
