Best Ammo for GSG 1911 .22 if CCI, Federal are not available

Good to hear that the GSG will take Winchester 555/525/33. There are around. On a side note, Today I visit my local gun store and was able to snatch 500 rounds of CCI mini mags and 200 rounds of the CCI Blazer. :runaway: Almost thinking to keep them in storage and give the Winchester a try. Again thanks guys. Good advise and information.
 
After about 500rnds (break-in period) my Sig version shot a steady diet of Win555/333's without any issues until it got dirty(300-400rnds).
If your GSG is brand-new consider breaking it in with the brick of Mini Mags and get yourself the ZRTS kit (or similar).

Hi johnNTO. Yes my GSG is brand speaking and I will do as you advise and break it with a brick of mini mags. Thanks for your advise!! Could you please tell me more about ZRTS kit? Thanks for your time, take care and have a good one.
 
ZRTS ships direct to Canada from the states or there are other places to get them in Canada (though I don't think you can get the fitted bushing/SAC from other places)

I contacted ZRTS, they said they don't ship to Canada, and referred me to Blue Line. I got the new ultimate package from them, and its sweet! The new bushing is awesome, quality stuff!

Not sure who you spoke to, but I just ordered the kit and had no problems getting it shipped to me. Price with shipping and exchange rate worked out a bit better than with BlueLine.

Thanks johNTO. Unfortunately the fun has to wait until I am recover from my second hip replacement surgery, witch will take on Thursday. On the Brightside I have enough time, approximately 6 weeks, to familiarize myself whit my new GSG and norinco np22. Oh dam, that's remains me I only told my wife about the gsg :) I will have to tell her eventually, :nest: but I wait until after the surgery, I will loo more pitiful..although I doubt it will save me :kickInTheNuts: :runaway: d:h: :HR: Thanks again for your advise, take care and have a good one.
 
i have over a 1000 rounds of remington yellow jacket through mine, not a single miss feed or failure to fire.
