Best ammo for Sig 1911?

Looken for recommendations for the best ( most accurate ) *Factory* ammo for a Sig 1911.
Grain and manufacturer. FMJ

S&B 230gr worked great for me... But like all firearms try a bunch out and use the one your gun likes.

I have a friend that reloads for me and he dropped my FPS to 850 FPS with a 230 gr. Makes the .45 way nicer to shoot.

230gr American Eagle or Winchester works just great through mine.

AE 230gr worked well for me as well. Winchester Whitebox felt a little underpowered but wasn't too bad, decent enough for plinking. Canadian BDX factory reloads worked pretty good too.

My tac ops 1911 eats anything. AE, commercial reloads, win white, it even liked norinco albeit dirty. All of which are 230 gr. couldn't say one was more accurate than the other though.

I could write the exact same comment and be 100% accurate! All of it is accurate at 30 meters with a TLR-2

Another + 1 for the S&B 230g. I've had good luck with Remington UMC 230g

Yep, love the Sellier and Bellot. Great ammo and the brass is top notch for reloading.

Had my STX out for the first run this morning.

It was great with Win Clean and S&B

Sig makes some nice 1911's, I wasn't a fan of these grips until I saw them in person
