"Best" antique handgun?

Ok, back on topic now that dip#### has been banned.

Always wanted a bulldog of some sort. Are there really no issues with barrel length for these?

Nope, no issues with barrel length. Irrelevant for antiques. Bulldogs are very cool - gotta love a big-bore revolver that fits in your pocket. Mine has some issues with lockup that I'm working on, unfortunately, but hopefully I'll have it running properly soon :)

Thanks much. Honestly between this and the polar bear antique thread I've learned a few things about antiques. And I might be starting to seriously Jonesing for a Webley. Will have to do some reading. Thanks everyone!

Not a liberal troll, a "gamer" troll, LOL.

His comment about shooting someone to take their M4 is a video game fantasy - in games murder has no repercussions because it's not real. He also said he could buy a Benelli for free in AVA - but didn't seem to understand it is a make-believe Benelli, not a real one. Too much gaming damages some people's grasp on reality. Sad.

As a lover of well crafted watches, I can tell you that my Swiss M1882 service revolver made in 1895 is a well crafted and perfectly reliable revolver. Yes, you have to roll your own ammo (long obsolete cartridge), but its an enjoyable hobby for me. Power? My average loads throw 100 grain wadcutters at ~ 950-965 fps with impressive accuracy.
