Best AR 15 mags

Hey guys,
I'm new to the AR 15 world and am looking for some suggestions for which magazines to buy. Looking for 5/30 mags!
Which mags have worked best for you guys?

I've never had a problem with pmags...

But in Canada lar mags are really what's needed

LAR15 ten rounders, IMHO. They're probably not the length you're looking for though.

My first and second choices as well : LAR-15 pistol 10 round then PMAG M3 5/30

My Fav is the ATRS AT15 10 round pistol mags.
They are the balance of both worlds. 10 round capacity in a 20 round body.

Mine are the gen 2 mags (Before they got the "BOOM" on the bottom) and they have worked perfectly for me. (I think they are on gen 4 now?)

500rds in my ATRS mags and they are awesome, 10rd and longer mag style. I got a bunch of OG LAR15, USGI, and pmags and all work fine.

Since 5 rounds mags are useless and nothing more that fancy paperweights they dont make my list.

Best Mag so far have been the ARTS Pistol mags Gen 1 of course, 2nd place are the IMI Beowulf mags for that extra capacity.

Those mags have never had issues in my Tavor , X95 , APC and ACR

LAR pistol mags are a PITA and some are real jamb-o-matics and the PVC-50 mags are absolute junk.

And if you got lots of money burning a hole in your pocket you could alway get real Alexander Arm Metal Beowulf mags

Pretty sure there's been a change in the regs regarding Beowulf mags that hold 5 rounds of 50 Beowulf. Two guys were yakking about it at a place i go to that caters to IPSC shooters and such. If memory serves 5 rounds Beo mags are now prohibited.

was looking at the mission first tactical mags
anyone use them or know if they have any issues?

mission first tactical mags work great. It's nice quality. I like the size for bench shooting.

I'm a huge nerd when it comes to magazines. I'm collecting quite a few. The only ones I still need to try out are atrs mags when they become available. I saw they recently came and went under my radar. I had put myself on the notification list, but only for the hot pink ones lol, cause I thought they'd be not as popular with you fellas

for 5 rounders I really do like pmags. 5/20 is a great size.

looking for 10/20s .. a bit picky but i like the length of the 20 rounders with max capacity. less time reloading at the range and more time plinking targets
