Best AR-15 Pistol Grip?

What does everyone prefer for an aftermarket pistol grip?

Magpul, Hogue, Tapco, or something else?

I hate the one that came on my rifle.

For me...HK416 Battlegrip w/storage. It's big though (for us with large hands) and pricey. The BCM Gunfighter grip is similar and less expensive.
*edit*: tried the umbrella corp. one and didn't care for it at all. The more vertical stance looked awful (to me) and the smooth texture/thinnner profile didn't do it for me at all. Not knocking those who like it...but for this guy it was a no-go.

I'm a fan of the Magpul MOE+ grip. Cheap, great texture, storage, great angle and hand fit. Pistol grips are very much an "opinions may vary" item. If possible see if you can play around with a few different ones before you buy.

I've got a hogue grip. Nothing fancy, but it has a great shape and texture for me.

I had the Magpul Moe + which I really liked due to it's rubberized grip. I recently switched to the BCM mod1 which has a better grip angle and is slightly smaller so it works with smaller hands. Both grips also have storage, which is a nice feature IMO.

+3 for Umbrella Corp. More vertical grip and less wrist strain. Only wish it had a storage compartment.

I absolutely love my magpul moe grip. upgradable inserts, simple and the perfect size. I did NOT like the miad,ergo or moe+ but many others do

BCM Gunfighter.

Went from Magpul MIAD to the Gunfighter and love it.

Same here. I loved my miad grip on my JR, but then tried the bcm gunfighter mod 0 and didn't look back. I have a miad grip on my 870, and will eventually swap it out to a BCM.

A couple years ago I picked up a STARK SE-1. Best Grip out there bar none!! Period.
But I went with Billet Lowers, so I sold it.
The STARK puts your thumb lower on the grip, it puts your trigger finger inline with the trigger.

Now.... BCM and others are Copying what STARK started with the altered grip angle.

The BCM grips are too Narrow anyways.

I have an ERGO 4045 on a Lower now. It has the improved grip angle and it nice and fat. Feels great.
